The Class

I had soo much fun this year in this class. It was interesting to learn actionscript and flash. I am also very relieved that my project is done. Overall it was a fun educational experience. :)

My game is coming along nicely but i am running out of time. I need to put some sound into my game and add a few more questions, but now its crunch time.

My game is behind compared to most kids because my lack of attendance in school. I need to start coming and I need to start working hard for these few weeks.

Navigation

I thought adding navigation was fairly hard because if you mess up on one little thing then nothing will work. It is pretty easy though once you get the hang of it.

Update on my game

My game is going very good, I think it would be easier if i would come to school more often. I was starting on the navigation today, but i ran out of time :/

Paper Prototyping

Yesterday we did a paper prototype and we had to draw out a preview of our game. I actually enoyed this because i like to draw even though i'm not good at it. I think that it was one of the funnest things we have done so far this year.

Imagining your game

I'm going to be making a decision-based game that has to do with the environment. The desicions you make will effect what the environment around you will look like at the end of the game. I'm excited about getting started, but worried about it being hard to use actionscript.

mini game project

I thought everything was fairly easy, but the actionscript did get pretty frustrating at times. Overall i think it was a good learning experience.

I am now following three envirenmental blogs, and they are blogger buzz, tree huggers, and autoblog. They all have interesting information about the environment and i suggest you take look at them.

Cyber Safety

In second block today Officer Mcpeake informed us about how to use the internet in a safe way. He taught us about how we shouldn't post information like phone numbers and locations on the internet. Also, he informed us on cyberbullying and what we should not use our phones for.
